The Wufoo +
SurveyMonkey

FAQ

What is going on?

Our company, Infinity Box, signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by SurveyMonkey. Wufoo's form builder will join their family of products and our company will become a wholly owned subsidiary of SurveyMonkey.

Who's SurveyMonkey?

SurveyMonkey is the leader in web-based survey solutions. Founded in 1999, SurveyMonkey helps millions of people gain the insights they need to make more informed decisions. Customers include 100% of the Fortune 100, as well as other businesses, academic institutions, and organizations of all shapes and sizes.

Whoa, is Wufoo
going away now?

No way, José! The monkey loves the T-rex and the T-rex loves the monkey. Both services will continue to operate as before and deliver great new features for all our users. Your forms will work today, tomorrow, and forever. That goes for reports and everything else too.

What’s the future
of Wufoo?

What it's always been--focusing on providing our users the best form building experience on the web. That means creating new features, staying up to date with the latest technologies, getting faster, and everything else that comes with making online forms better for the people that end up using them.

What happens to the Wufoo team?

The entire team is staying together and moving out to Palo Alto, CA. We'll be working inside the SurveyMonkey office. We'll have to start wearing pants, but we think their swanky snack bar is worth it.

Why is SurveyMonkey acquiring Wufoo?

SurveyMonkey wanted to expand into the online form market and they believed Wufoo’s form builder and the team behind it were the best. Wufoo also seemed like a perfect complement to their growing suite of services to offer amazing data collection tools to their customers. They figured WITH OUR POWERS COMBINED...you know the rest.

Why did you guys decide to be acquired?

The chemistry was just too good. SurveyMonkey loves what we’ve done here at Wufoo. Our cultures are a great match and we have some remarkable similarities. For example, did you know that both were founded by brothers named Chris and Ryan? It’s crazy. We even have the same business models, which allowed us to understand each other very easily. What SurveyMonkey wants is to help us take things to the next level. We have always wanted to expand Wufoo into international markets and thanks to our new friends, we’ll have the resources and expertise to help us grow and do just that.

What is the value of the transaction?

I’m afraid we’re not disclosing details of the transaction.

Will this change SurveyMonkey’s current services?

SurveyMonkey users can continue to log into Surveymonkey.com to see all of their surveys. Until we complete the technical integration, the two products and services will remain separate--so SurveyMonkey users who want to use Wufoo will need to sign up for an account here at Wufoo.com.

What changes can Wufoo users expect to see?

For now, the integration will only take place on the back end. Wufoo users will still be able to log on and experience our service here at Wufoo.com. Your forms and reports will remain exactly the same and you can expect the same great dedication to excellence as you always have from the Wufoo team. For all intents and purposes, it’ll be business as usual.

Will Wufoo’s prices increase?

Nope. Our prices will remain the same.

Will SurveyMonkey’s prices increase?

Nope. Their prices will also remain the same.
